Netcetera regularly encourages the youth with projects, student internships, apprenticeships, the yearly Kids Day, the Cultura Support Program and many more.
The Open Source Awards encourage the use of open source software in Switzerland and aim to raise the public awareness of open source projects. Netcetera sponsored the "Education" category and awarded the representatives of the University of Zurich , Renata Sevcikova and Immo Wille, with the well-deserved prize at the OpenExpo in Winterthur. Their winning project "eLesson Markup Language" is XML based and used to generate structured e-learning content.
