Renowned US Professor supports Netcetera

Prof. Thomas Zurbuchen initiates Innovation

Thomas Zurbuchen, Professor and Associate Dean for Entrepreneurial Programs at the University of Michigan, USA, has joined Netcetera as a Researcher in Residence during his sabbatical. Till summer 2010, Zurbuchen is supporting Netcetera in empowering the company's innovation pipeline by researching innovative ideas, novel products and to develop plans for bringing them to life.

Thomas Zurbuchen is a PhD in astrophysics from the University of Bern. For over 14 years, he built a successful research group at the University of Michigan, a public US university with a billion-dollar research program. He is the founding director of the University’s Center for Entrepreneurship, which has attracted US-wide visibility through its size and broad impacts. In his function as Associate Dean, Thomas Zurbuchen now develops, leads and coordinates programs focused on innovation, entrepreneurship and technology transfer at the University's College of Engineering.er’s the daily work.
