Over the last two years, the Netcetera subsidiary Metaversum has established itself as an innovative provider of professional e-government solutions. To reap the greatest possible benefits from this momentum now in pending implementation projects, Metaversum has been incorporated into Netcetera. The customers therefore benefit from the integrated knowledge transfer process as well as from the expertise of Netcetera developers. Netcetera’s e-government division is headed by Benno Häfliger, the former Managing Director of Metaversum.
In the new e-government strategy for the public sector, Netcetera is consistently using its core competences and software components, that were developed in other areas as e.g. front office and self-servicing solutions.
E-Police Breaks fresh Ground in Communication
With the Canton of Bern's e-police project, Netcetera has now been awarded the contract to set up a modern e-government service desk. “In the e-police project, we can draw on experience gained in comparable propositions in the Cantons Zürich, Basel and Zug, which have either been implemented successfully already or are currently being realized,” comments Andrej Vckovski, CEO of the Netcetera Group. “With the integration of Metaversum, we intend to offer our broad knowledge in the development of complex software solutions consistently in the field of e-government too.”
