JavaScript at Netcetera

JavaScript or TypeScript are used by many software engineers at Netcetera on a daily basis.

We take an engineering approach to frontend / full-stack development by using well-known software engineering practices such as Separation of concerns, Design by contract, API first design, Unit testing, and many other practices.

React

Angular

Svelte

Node.js

React

Many of our engineers enjoy working with React.

We have successfully completed many projects with it.

High-traffic newspaper sites, backoffice applications for various businesses in Healthcare, Payment, and Retail are some examples of projects that we are working on.

We also maintain an Open-Source framework called Skele

Angular

Angular is used in Netcetera for various cases.

Planning of rail traffic in Europe, management of hospital and patient data, management of real estate data, and many others.

Node.js

We use Node.js to power some of the APIs that are the brain behind the UI we make.

Traditionally we use Java and Spring Boot based backends but also in some situations Node.js is our technology of choice. Many of our engineers have the opportunity to develop Frontend and/or Backend systems.

Svelte

Svelte is the new kid on the block for Netcetera.

It has some advantages but its biggest drawback is the lack of high-quality components. That’s why we Open-Source some of the components we make.

Other JavaScript technologies used at Netcetera

NPM

Yarn

Webpack

Rollup.js

GraphQL

Nuxt
