Netcetera covers the entire Alpine region

Market leader in payment security opens new office in Vienna

The Swiss software company Netcetera, with 13 locations in Europe and the Middle East, is opening a branch office in Vienna on 30 August. For the market leader in payment security, Vienna is a key location in its expansion strategy as Austria is the financial and trading center and hub for Eastern Europe. Last year only, Netcetera acquired the Austrian company Nexperts.

For Andrej Vckovski, CEO of the Netcetera Group, Vienna as Austria's financial and trading center is not only an important market, but also the hub of an area of about nine million people in Austria, encompassing also the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Quoting Vckovski: "With the location Vienna we strengthen our presence in Austria. In addition, we are setting an exclamation point to the expansion of our international team and to serving other markets internationally with our trend-setting products and individual software, especially in the areas of banking, payment and security". With its three locations Linz, Hagenberg and Vienna, Netcetera has taken the decisive step to expand its market position as a leading player in payment transactions in Austria and Eastern Europe.

Christina Reinbacher, Head of the Swiss Business Hub Austria in Vienna, underlines the cross-national significance in her opening speech: "We welcome and encourage the influx of innovative companies like Netcetera. They are essential for securing the region's economic viability and future."

Already a leader in securing e-commerce payments and mobile contactless payments, the Swiss software company now also brings solutions for digitization in banking, insurance, media, healthcare and transportation to Austria and Eastern Europe.

Netcetera sees its entrepreneurial mission in reducing the complexity in handling computers and at the same time making the digital world as simple and secure as possible.
