The partnership between BLT and G+D Netcetera has been in place for several years. Together, the two companies have developed user-friendly and forward-looking apps and backend systems for digital access to public transportation in the Baselland region (BLT Go and TNW Tickets app).
G+D Netcetera has now made a conscious decision to sell its Smart Mobility portfolio to BLT. This will allow the business unit and its employees to focus entirely on smart mobility solutions and to continue developing this area.
The integration of G+D Netcetera’s Smart Mobility portfolio into BLT will enable the corporate mobility and data-driven mobility services sectors, in particular, to benefit from combined expertise and technologies as well as more efficient development and operational structures.
The employees and existing customer relationships in Switzerland will be fully transferred to BLT. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
