Click to Pay SRCI: carbon assessment

GoCodeGreen’s 2024 carbon lifecycle assessment placed G+D Netcetera’s Click to Pay SRCI in the top 20% of digital payment applications it has assessed, with a C rating on GoCodeGreen’s A–G scale. The assessment quantified the solution’s impact at 11 tCO2eq per year and 44 gCO2e per transaction across all GHG Protocol scopes.
 

GoCodeGreen’s Carbon Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) highlighted the G+D Netcetera’s sophisticated cloud and business practices and environmentally conscious approach to development, deployment, and operations.

Using the internationally recognized Software Carbon Intensity (SCI) metric, GoCodeGreen’s evaluation measured the carbon intensity of the Click to Pay SRCI solution. It is focused on understanding the carbon footprint across various stages of the product lifecycle: build, release, and use.

The assessment aligns with the highest maturity levels of The Payment Association’s Carbon Emissions Framework for Digital Payments.
