Senior Compliance Officer

This position is a time-limited engagement for a maternity leave absence. The continuation of the engagement will depend on the evolving needs of our organization.

This is a senior position within a small compliance team. The primary responsibility of this role is compliance with the legal requirements of the countries where Netcetera operates and the requirements of our customers. This involves a broad range of topics from data privacy over risk and vendor management to compliance education and customer contract discussions on compliance topics.

The position is open for Skopje.

Your role

Proactive periodic checks of internal policies and procedures
Establishment of new policies and procedures
Answer customer compliance questions
Act as Data Protection Officer Macedonia and deputy for Netcetera Group
Discuss and negotiate compliance and privacy topics in customer contracts together with the legal and product teams
Assist in the gathering of information in different requests
Educate on compliance topics
Advise and support numerous teams
Lead complience projects
Implement the compliance program

Your profile

A degree in law with a minimum of 5 years work experience in the related fields (compliance, law, software engineering and delivery)
Fluent English speaker and writer
Ability to work directly with compliance officers from major customers around the world
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Proactive, self-driven, pragmatic and hands-on attitude
High standards of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
Ready to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel to various Netcetera sites when required
