Senior Procurement Specialist

Skopje, North Macedonia

We are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to help drive our strategic purchasing activities and strengthen our vendor landscape. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and executing procurement strategies across IT software, hardware, services, and infrastructure. Working closely with internal stakeholders and our Head of Procurement, you will ensure that our sourcing processes support innovation, operational excellence, and long-term company growth.
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic tech environment and brings strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and a collaborative mindset.

The role is valid until 31.12.2025

Your Tasks

  • Support the Head of Procurement in the execution of strategic procurement initiatives
  • Manage strategic and operational procurement activities for IT software, hardware, licenses, infrastructure, and services.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and handle contract negotiations with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Monitor contract performance and coordinate with legal teams for adjustments or renewals
  • Manage the entire procurement process - from needs analysis, through tendering to contract signing
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into procurement requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and assist in supplier audits.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Stay up to date with market trends and technology providers to support innovation and vendor diversity.

Your Profile

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in procurement, ideally in IT, SaaS, or software-based industries.
  • Solid knowledge of vendor negotiation, contract management, and sourcing in the tech domain.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement activities in parallel.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working in or with regulated environments (e.g., FinTech, banking, insurance) is advantageous.
  • High level of self-motivation and ownership of tasks, combined with a strong sense of team spirit and collaboration.
  • Fluency in English is required

Nice to have:

  • German skills are a strong advantage.
  • Certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus (e.g., CIPS, ISM).
