The position is open for Skopje, Bitola & Ohrid

Your role

Work in or lead a team that designs, implements and delivers complex Java Web applications for clients in various industries
Take responsibility for technical design and maintenance of subsystems or component
Ensure application stability and performance
Contribute to architectural decisions and solutions
Interdisciplinary cooperation with other areas (e.g. UI/UX)
Communicate with stakeholders and bring business value to our clients
Establish and follow high standards in software quality, testing, and security
Perform code reviews and track quality software metrics
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for testing and delivering applications
Contribute to the evolution of our technical capabilities and innovation efforts
Mentor junior software engineers and take care of their education and career development

Your profile

4+ years of professional experience in design and implementation of complex Web applications
Deep knowledge of one or more programming languages and related technology stacks
Practical knowledge of modern architectures and design patterns
Good knowledge of relational databases and ORMs
Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol
Experience in the design of HTTP based APIs (REST, SOAP)
Experience with any frontend library or framework
Possess good analytical and communication skills
Are fluid in written and spoken English language
A bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent experience

Plus:

Advanced knowledge of Java and Spring Boot and related technologies
Experience with Maven
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience in app security and cryptography
Experience with mentoring junior developers
Understanding of the full development life-cycle
Held a tech lead position previously
