  • Designing Digital Systems around People explores how systems thinking can help financial institutions move beyond siloed solutions toward truly human-centric digital experiences. As digital becomes the default channel, Customers no longer experience banking, identity, payments, or wealth management in isolation; they experience one interconnected system in which trust is continuously built or lost.

Why is optimizing individual products or features no longer sufficient in a world defined by constant change, rising complexity, and growing customer expectations? By shifting from a product view to a life view, and from point systems to ecosystems, the challenge falls to financial institutions to rethink their role in the digital world: not just as service providers, but as trusted participants in a living system designed around people.

  • Rethinking Identity in Digital Banking

Based on our global experience across mature and emerging markets, this session explores how digital banks can design joined-up identity journeys that are secure, consistent, and recognisably human. Verify your customer’s identity once, then remember them. Make secure digital identity journeys easier and more consistent across devices. Authenticate your customer as a person. As AI-driven fraud and deepfakes become mainstream, the challenge is no longer just stronger authentication, but smarter identity continuity.

  • Aleksandar Nikov, G+D Netcetera

We are witnessing the transition from classic chatbots to agentic AI, software capable of interpreting intent, reasoning through complex steps, and taking autonomous action under strict policy. Banks have a strategic opportunity to capture new growth by evolving into the trusted decision engine behind retail moments, integrating identity, financing, and risk management across the entire consumer journey. Rather than merely building smarter chatbots, financial institutions must focus on creating a secure delegation layer where AI-driven commerce remains authorized, explainable, and accountable.
