Netcetera 3DS Server is compliant with MADA, Saudi Arabia card network

Encouraging innovation and strengthening the financial sector is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. MADA certification will bring even more business opportunities for issuers and payment service providers, a safer online e-commerce environment, and relaxed cardholder shopping.

Netcetera is proud to announce its readiness for MADA specifications on EMV® 3-D Secure. MADA is the central payment system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Netcetera’s action aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which supports a cashless society and encourages innovation and strengthening of the financial sector.

By complying with the Saudi card network, Netcetera is ready to support Acquirers and PSPs in understanding the card networks’ specific requirements and validating the local regulations. All banks in Saudi Arabia need to issue ATM cards fully compatible with the local MADA card network. MADA provides services to over 17,000 ATM machines and over 225,000 POS terminals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With global payment systems like Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro, MADA allows access to millions of ATMs and POS terminals worldwide.

“We stand behind the growth aspirations of our partners, customers, and future collaborators. Offering a MADA-ready 3DS Server confirms our commitment to ensuring smooth and reliable online transactions worldwide. It confirms our mission to constantly improve our product portfolio and support our customers in establishing a great relationship with their end users.” - says Ramy Fouda, Netcetera Director of Sales and Business Development for MENA.

Netcetera’s acquiring products enable processing transactions with 3-D Secure protocols and PSD2 SCA exemptions, certified with many card networks and fully compliant with the standards in the payment industry, such as PCI – DSS and PCI-3DS. Having Netcetera as a partner means that the issuers and acquirers can easily integrate with its secure digital payment products, according to card networks and government regulations.

Saudi Arabia is among the top 30 e-commerce markets globally, predicted to reach US$12.3 billion by 2023.
