Healthcare services specialist HINT AG (based in Lenzburg, Switzerland), software specialist Netcetera and data and workflow management specialist the i-engineers joined forces to launch the cloud-based mobile patient file system. Their collaborative service offering encompasses medical, administrative and radiological files as well as care standards and is targeted at all institutions in the health care sector, including hospitals, care homes, old-age homes, rehabilitation centers and specialized clinics. The new mobile solution gives future users – doctors, care staff and other specialists – access to full patient medical history data anywhere and anytime on tablet PCs or directly at the patient's bedside.
The mobile patient file system can be implemented very quickly, is immediately ready for use, and does not require any additional investments. It provides standard interfaces for linking to KIS, the ERP system, word and image processing programs and archiving programs. The solution is additionally based on the generally accepted IHE standard and fulfils all legal requirements for the protection, storage and archiving of personal data.
HINT is responsible for hosting and operating the solution, the i-engineers provides the health engine (solution architecture), and Netcetera contributes their eVisit Mobile product.
"This collaboration merges the expertise of three industry leaders in the healthcare sector," commented André Berli, CEO of HINT AG. "HINT contributes their competence as an outsourcing service provider with extensive experience in the provision of online health solutions in the form of software as a service."
"Thanks to modern cloud solutions, which also include mobile functionality, institutions in the healthcare sector can boost their efficiency and productivity with regard to quality in care and support," noted Markus Dietrich, Healthcare Director at Netcetera. Peter Summermatter, CEO of the i-engineers, added: "Our customers in the healthcare sector obtain a comprehensive, highly standardized package of services that can also be adapted very well to individual needs. This enables them to cut costs while differentiating themselves from increasingly strong competition."
A demo version of the mobile patient file system is available now at HINT AG's Customer Center in Lenzburg.
