The Berlin location, rightly called the Innovation Hub, offers space for our progressive corporate culture. As a digital payment and payment security provider, we intend to deepen our close ties with credit card companies locally.
“Berlin is a hotbed of talent and melting pot at the same time and has three times more FinTech companies than Munich, Hamburg and Frankfurt am Main. For us, this is the ideal starting point to further establish our business areas in Germany and to create a further hub for our global team." explains Michael Seifert, Managing Director of Netcetera Germany.
Origins in e-commerce and banking
Thanks to Netcetera, the first pizza in Switzerland was ordered online in 1996. Since then, the company has been supporting its customers worldwide with individual software and accompanies the entire lifecycle of an IT system, from strategy to implementation and operation. Already a leader in securing e-commerce payments and mobile contactless payments, the Swiss software company is now bringing solutions for digitization in the banking, insurance, media, and healthcare and transport sectors to Germany.
Netcetera's roots lie in software development, but the enabler also shapes the way people use computers. Andrej Vckovski, co-founder and CEO of Netcetera, sees his role in making technology for the digital world as simple and secure as possible: "We are excellent at software and pick up on topics that are on the event horizon. Be it apps, wallets, blockchain, conversation interfaces or augmented reality. With our solutions, we reduce human-computer disruptions and create trust in technology."
The Digital Hub is a co-working space founded by the Visa Innovation Center Berlin and Roland Berger and is located in Berlin, Kreuzberg. With its two locations in Munich and Berlin, Netcetera is strategically positioning itself to expand its market position as a leading player in payment transactions in Germany.
