Since early August, the credit card issuer Swisscard is offering its 3-D Secure customers the Transakt app by Entersekt, which simplifies online shopping. Netcetera integrated the mobile app into its 3-D Secure certified system. After a one-time online registration at Swisscard, Internet shops and their customers can use the app as an authentication agent. The Transakt app supports all popular smartphones. With every payment via 3-D Secure it sends a message containing payment details to the buyer's mobile device. The buyer accepts his or her purchase with just one tap. Compared with a static password, which needs to be entered for every transaction when shopping online, this mobile dynamic authentication is not only more user-friendly, but also safer.

About 3-D Secure
3-D Secure is the cardholder identification for online transactions internationally recognized by Visa (Verified by Visa), MasterCard (MasterCard SecureCode), American Express (American Express SafeKey) and other providers. Online payment by credit card is comparable with personal payment in a store, where customers sign them or enter their PIN.
